What travel insurance does *

Financial Cards lost or stolen.

One call to us and we handle the problem for you.

We cancel the cards.

You're covered.  If thieves use your cards after you've called us but before we have cancelled them, then we pay, not you.

We may also get cards re-issued (depending on issuing institution).

Reimburses fraudulent transactions up to a set limit.

Lost keys

We provide coded key tags when you join.  

You attach our key tags to your keys.  Someone finding your keys get them returned to you.  You stay anonymous.

Reimburses costs of lost or damaged keys.

Lost luggage

We provide coded luggage tags when you join.

You attach our tags to your luggage.  Someone finding your bags can get them returned to you.

Reimburses costs of lost and damaged luggage.

Lost property

We provide printed labels when you join.

You attach our labels to your possessions.   If found they can be returned.

Items to label include things like financial cards, electrical items, cameras, computers, and mobile phones.

Reimburses costs of lost or damaged property.

Mobile phone lost or stolen.

One call to us and we arrange a temporary block on the mobile phone to prevent it  being misused.

Our labels on the phone may help its speedy recovery.

Reimburses costs of lost or damaged mobile phones.

Other stolen possessions

We record serial numbers and descriptions which we report back to when you suffer loss.  This helps you to complete police and insurance reports.

Reimburses costs of lost or damaged property.

Wallet/purse lost or stolen and no money

We lend up to NZ$1,000 to you for emergency cash. Conditions apply.

Reimbursement of lost money may be included but the claim may not be paid immediately.

Passport lost or stolen

Cancel and renew passport.

One call to us and we arrange:

• cancellation of an Australian passport
• assist cancellation of a New Zealand passport (NZ government restrictions apply)
• help you to replace the passport.

Reimburses the cost of the replacement passport and replacement costs of other travel documents.

Change your address

We notify providers for you.
